New Visions Holistic Expo – Speaker Application Terms & Conditions

By submitting a speaker application for the New Visions Holistic Expo, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Application Review & Selection

Submitting a speaker application does not guarantee acceptance or placement in the event program.

All applications are carefully reviewed by the New Visions Holistic Expo team. Speaker selections are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to:

1. Topic relevance and alignment with the expo’s mission and audience

2. Educational value and presentation quality

3. Program balance, schedule flow, and space availability

4. Speaking experience and professionalism

The New Visions Holistic Expo reserves the right to approve, decline, or reclassify applications at its sole discretion.

2. Paid vs. Unpaid Speaking Opportunities

Some speaking opportunities may be designated as paid, while others are unpaid educational presentations.

Applying for a paid speaking position does not guarantee placement in a paid role. Applicants may be offered an unpaid speaking opportunity instead, depending on availability and program needs.

Due to limited availability, not all applicants requesting paid speaking positions will be selected for paid placement.

3. Speaker Attendance & Participation

If approved, speakers agree to:

1. Attend the event on their assigned date and time

2. Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled presentation

3. Conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and collaborative manner

Approved speakers will receive complimentary access to the expo as a guest, provided they are not a paid booth vendor.

4. Educational & Non–High-Pressure Sales Policy

All speaker presentations must be educational, informative, and engaging in nature.

High-pressure sales tactics, aggressive pitching, or coercive marketing during talks or workshops are not permitted.

Speakers may:

1. Share their work and expertise

2. Mention offerings or ways to connect organically

3. Provide resources or contact information

The goal is to create an enjoyable, inspiring, and value-driven experience for attendees.

5. Recording, Distribution & Media Use

All speaker presentations will be audio and/or video recorded.

By applying and accepting a speaking role, speakers grant the New Visions Holistic Expo permission to:

1. Record their presentation

2. Distribute recordings to VIP guests via our online platform after the event

3. Share short clips, excerpts, or highlights on social media and marketing channels

Speaker business information, name, and branding may be included alongside recordings and promotional materials.

No additional compensation will be provided for recordings, distribution, or promotional use unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

6. Speaker Visibility & Experience Standards

The New Visions Holistic Expo maintains high standards for speaker quality and audience experience.

Applicants may be asked to submit:

1. Speaking videos

2. Links to recorded talks, workshops, or media appearances

3. Online profiles or platforms that demonstrate speaking experience

This information helps us ensure an engaging, professional, and impactful experience for attendees and does not require applicants to have large followings or celebrity status.

7. Schedule Adjustments

While we make every effort to maintain the published schedule, speakers acknowledge that minor schedule changes may occasionally occur due to live event logistics.

If any changes are necessary, speakers will be notified as promptly as possible.

8. Compensation & Financial Terms

Unless explicitly contracted as a paid speaker:

1. Speakers will not receive monetary compensation

2. Speakers waive any claim to payment for recording, distribution, or promotional use of their presentation

9. Right to Refuse or Remove

The New Visions Holistic Expo reserves the right to:

1. Decline applications

2. Revoke speaker participation

3. Remove presentations that do not align with these terms, event values, or professional standards

10. Agreement & Acceptance

By submitting a speaker application, you confirm that:

1. You have read and understood these terms

2. You agree to comply with all policies outlined above

3. You acknowledge that final decisions rest with the New Visions Holistic Expo team
