Volunteer Roles:

  • Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist with setting up booths, signage, and event materials before and after the expo.
  • Guest Services: Welcome attendees, provide information, and help guide visitors throughout the event.
  • Workshop Support: Organize and manage workshops and lectures, assisting speakers and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Vendor Assistance: Offer support to vendors during the event, including setup assistance and customer interaction.

Volunteer Commitment

We ask that volunteers commit to at least one full day (Saturday or Sunday) or two half-day shifts. Training and detailed instructions will be provided prior to the event.

Volunteer Availability & Task Selection

Please review the available volunteer days, times, and tasks carefully before submitting your selections. You are welcome to choose multiple roles and multiple time slots each day based on your availability and interests.

We encourage you to select all opportunities you are willing to assist with, not just your preferred role. This flexibility helps us create a balanced schedule and ensure all event areas are adequately staffed.

Some positions, such as Welcome & Electronic Registration, require volunteers to be comfortable using a smartphone or mobile device. Volunteers assigned to these roles should be familiar with basic cell phone functions and willing to use their personal device to assist with electronic check-in and registration.

Vendor Relief shifts are scheduled in 2-hour blocks, and volunteers may be assigned based on event needs and overall coverage.

While we will do our best to honor your requested days, times, and tasks, we cannot guarantee your first choice. Final assignments will be made based on volunteer availability, event priorities, and operational needs.

You will receive a confirmation of your assigned volunteer schedule prior to the event.
